In 1977 Craig and Mary Trischman started Craig W. Trischman Lime and Fertilizer in Bradford, Vermont.  They eventually formed a partnership with Percy Lund that led to their sole ownership and operation of Twin State Fertilizer in Bradford.   Craig and Mary shared ownership and operation of the company with their son Keith Trischman until 2006, when Craig passed away.   Twin State Fertilizer has blended organic fertilizers for another company for many years.  Mary and Keith looking to the future of fertilizers have decided to branch out into the organic marketplace under their own Twin State label with three new products going into 2008.  Twin State Fertilizer has a successful business in the commercial side of things and looks forward to bringing an affordable product to the organic one.
